Well done, Dorothy.The Bellingham Heritage Centre in Northumberland – 18 miles north of Hexham on the edge of the Northumberland National Park – is hoping to purchase a couple of railway carriages from the 1950s and turn them into a café. What a fantastic idea.
The museum is hoping to get funding from the Northumberland Uplands Leader Project and the Heritage Lottery Fun, according to a report in the Hexham Courant.
